Weekends don't count unless you spend them doing something completely pointless.

01. SPRING BREAK! FUCK YES. Had to turn in some exams on the same day, to say that I was stressed would be an understatement - I apologize to my awesome and patient SPNP boy and girls on Twatter for my frequent meltdowns, you guys keep me sane ♥

02. About Supernatural episode 5.15, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid? I've said this before so I'll keep it short: It was meh. I mean, yay for Zombie Apocalypse and all but I got bored halfway through, it just felt lackluster and anti-climatic, guess I expected more than a filler after the awesome episodes The Song Remains the Same and My Bloody Valentine that aired before the Hellatus. Judging by the released clips, next episode is looking pretty good though, I can't wait.

03. On Thursday, I managed to catch the first two periods of the Rangers vs. Devils game before I had to switch over to SPN. Had my girl [livejournal.com profile] kissedmyfears to cheer for me by proxy lol. My boys lost :/ but at least the Devils moved back up to first plays in the Atlantic Division. I won't be able to watch the games against the Canadiens tonight or the Flyers on Sunday with the Los Angeles convention going on and all.

04. I'll be getting my con-fu on this weekend, it's been a while so I'll see that goes. A summary of the Friday LA Con panels has already been posted HERE. Richard is hilarious and Rob is basically Chuck in real life, so precious ♥
Tonight is gonna be more of a challenge with four panels to keep track of and transcribe - I can only imagine the screaming and flailing that is going to ensue when Misha gets up there. I wonder what he's going to wear this time, he looked positively dapper at ChiCon last November. And the carnations, can't forget the carnations lolz.

04. Also, this video? BRILLIANT LMAO

Misha the Mary Sue lmao xD

Thankfully money isn't an issue, I get enough money from the state every month for going to uni to finance this without depleting my resources. I've always wanted to go to New York, and I've warmed up to the idea of going to Vancouver ever since I got into SPN and met [livejournal.com profile] juanitatequila, I wanna take a look at the UBC campus if I ever go. I'd be traveling alone to and fro but I'd meet up with some very good friends from fandom, including hopefully [livejournal.com profile] juanitatequila - I wouldn't dare to go otherwise lol.

Basically, I just think I need a kick in the ass get it done. Also my family is worried about me going, so there's that to take care off as well.

Accents don't bother me all that much either, but there's something about the Danish accent that just annoys me, Danish is very flat, while English has an inherent pitch and just listening to those things combined grates - living here and being an English major as well has made me kind of sensitive towards it idk. But dude this professor? He can barely form a sentence, stutters and just mispronounces the words - we all have trouble decoding what he is saying most of the time.

Oh God it's the source of so much crack. Because then that led to him being Misha-Sue. Which we decided sounds like a Pokemon.

"MISHA-SUE, I CHOOSE YOU!"

See now I'm totally jealous about the money lol. I wanted to go to Vancouver for a while but becoming a fan of SPN does put a little more bump to it just to be able to be like, "Oh I recognize that!". But I have some friends that live there too (moved from Toronto) that I'd like to visit. :)

I think it's kind of funny that you mention it being flat because usually when I hear people complaining about American accents they usually go off about it being nasal. :-X And that would drive me crazy with the professor. Does he teach English cause that would be even funnier and kind of wrong. I had a professor once I couldn't understand at all. She was from Mexico and had kind of a thick accent and on top of it she had braces so she would lisp at the same time. And of course she taught philosophy so everyone was like ...... O_____O

Speaking of accents I love Allan Hyde's. It's interesting. He's Danish, but his father is from London, and then he said he adapted it coming to LA too. I love him. Although I don't like the bits that show me in this video lol.

lmao I can hear the Danish clearly when he talks XD

My professor teaches history, but he's not from the English department so he doesn't usually teach in English. It was kind of a last minute deal when my other professor decided to step down and he was the only one available to teach the course. Not his fault of course, but still it does make it more difficult and annoying.

lol I think he's adorable. I can't help it. :)

That makes a little bit more sense though. I could still see how it would be frustrating.
